JSAQuick ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Service Delivery: To generate JSA documents and provide access to the platform.
  • Account Management: To authenticate you, manage your subscription, and enforce usage limits.
  • Billing: To process payments and prevent fraud via our payment processor.
  • Communications: To send transactional emails (e.g. receipts, account notifications). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
  • Improvement: To analyse aggregate usage patterns and improve the Service.
  • Legal Compliance: To comply with our legal obligations.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate JSAQuick:

  • Clerk — Authentication and user management (Clerk Privacy Policy)
  • Dodo Payments — Payment processing. We do not store your card details.
  • Google Gemini API — AI document generation. Your job task inputs are sent to Google's API for processing.
  • Neon (PostgreSQL) — Database hosting in the US East region.
  • Railway — Backend hosting.
  • Vercel — Frontend hosting.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. JSA documents are stored in your library according to your plan (30 days for Starter, unlimited for Pro). You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@jsaquick.com.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
  • Secure, hashed authentication managed by Clerk.
  • Production API keys stored as environment variables, not in source code.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Portability: Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection: Object to processing of your data for certain purposes.

8. Cookies

We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in. These are managed by Clerk. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to third parties.

9. Children's Privacy

JSAQuick is not directed at children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Your continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
